Harley Street to South Hams
Jill qualified as a chartered physiotherapist from the Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy, in central London. She worked at several central London teaching hospitals whilst combining her interest in sport.
Jill spent nine years working in professional football at two leading London clubs; she's also worked with local rugby and in womens football. She went on to become the head physio for England womens football for three years, before moving to international rugby where she worked for eleven years, spending eight as the lead physio for England women's rugby, which involved extensive world-wide travel, covering the 15s and 7s rugby squads.
Jill also worked with the LTA covering numerous tennis competitions, including the Wimbledon qualifiers. She has worked with disability athletes since 2005 when she was appointed as the England women's deaf football team physiotherapist, a position she holds to this day. She has also worked with cerebral palsy, partially sighted, blind and learning disabilities squads.
She is currently the lead physiotherapist for Central Sparks cricket team, who are based at Edgbaston. She was also the lead physiotherapist for Birmingham Phoenix in the Hundred cricket competition, which ran over the summer. Jill was the lead physiotherapist for the New Zealand women's cricket team on their tour of England in the Autumn.
Jill is an experienced and highly skilled consultant physiotherapist with a proven clinical track record in the delivery of quality services in both a public and private setting, to a range of different clients including international athletes and sports teams; Jill has wide experience of many sports, having played many sports throughout her career, as well as achieving a black belt in judo. She played hockey, tennis and cross-country at a high level, and currently skis regularly with her four children and husband, having lived in the Alps for eight ski seasons. She covers a range of sports including football, rugby, ultimate frisbee, golf, judo, volleyball, gymnastics, skiing, and many more. Jill has completed her APPI pilates courses, and does regular CPD. She has a good working relationship with several leading orthopaedic sports medicine consultants.
Jill currently works in London, splitting her time between running clinics from 96 Harley Street London W1G 7HY and the South Hams, Devon, including the Plymouth area.
Services include orthopaedics, pre and post surgery, rehabilitation including tailor made plans. Experience of working will all ages, from children, to elderly; all levels of fitness, in clinics, office and home settings.
